The SUNY Youth Sports Institute is proud to partner with Southeastern Security Consultants, Inc (SSCI)., and the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) in a strategy that ensures that every Youth Sports New York (YSNY) certified coach meets a minimum standard that provides participants with a safe and secure environment. In most cases the price is only $20 per person.

Both NCSI and SSCI are well respected organizations that provide due diligent screening programs. They are leading experts in qualifying volunteers through comprehensive background checks and screenings. They bring a wealth of knowledge that assists park and recreation and youth sports agencies "clear through the clutter" and reduce risk by effectively qualifying applicants.
