Volusia County-area juniors age 10-and-under can participate in a free evening of tennis when the Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach hosts a USTA Tennis Night in America celebration on March 1, 2010, from 5:30-7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, and will include pizza, prizes, games, and feature the QuickStart Tennis format of play.
QuickStart Tennis is tennis scaled to the size of the child, utilizing age-appropriate equipment, including smaller racquets, lower-bouncing balls and smaller courts that have kids immediately able to play long rallies, with a focus on fun rather than instruction.
